The Shanksville-Stonycreek School District has the following full-time openings that include a great
benefit package along with a friendly and supportive work environment:
LEARNING SUPPORT (6-12) ENGLISH – The successful candidate must have PA Certification in
Special Education (7-12 or K-12). Secondary English (7-12) a plus. MS Certifications and additional
certifications will be considered. Must be able to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom.
HS LEARNING SUPPORT AIDE – Full-time (185-days) with benefits. Opening for a high school
learning support aide who will be responsible for providing student and classroom support services
throughout the school day in the high school learning support classrooms.
CAFETERIA COOK/LINE SERVER – Full-time (185-days) with benefits. Responsible for food prep,
line serving and daily clean up in the cafeteria.
LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER – Two (2) anticipated temporary vacancies for the
December – April timeframe for a Certified Classroom Teacher.
VARIOUS DAY-TO-DAY SUBSTITUTES – Day-to-Day substitutes needed for Certified Classroom
Teachers, RNs for school nurse, paraprofessionals, custodial staff and cafeteria staff.

VARSITY GOLF ASSISTANT COACH – Fall 2024 season.
VARSITY RIFLE ASSISTANT COACH – Winter 2024-25 season.
JUNIOR HIGH GIRLS’ BASKETBALL ASSISTANT COACH – Winter 2024-25 season.
JUNIOR HIGH SOFTBALL HEAD COACH – Spring 2025 season.
