The Shanksville-Stonycreek School District has the following openings that include a great benefit package along with a friendly and supportive work environment:


FULL-TIME:

ELEMENTARY TEACHER – Potential elementary position starting 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate must hold a PA Elementary teaching certificate along with either a Reading Specialist or Special Education certificate. Must be able to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom.

CAFETERIA COOK/LINE SERVER – Full-time (185-days) with benefits. Starting at $13.00/hr and can increase based on experience. Responsible for food prep, line serving and daily clean up in the cafeteria.

ONE-ON-ONE BEHAVIORAL AIDE – Full-time (185-days) with benefits. Candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one student and classroom support services throughout the school day.


SUBSTITUTES:

LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER – Applicants with a valid PA certificate for Agriculture, Tech Ed or Family Consumer Science will be given priority. Assignment will be for up to the first six (6) weeks of the 2025-2026 school year.

VARIOUS DAY-TO-DAY SUBSTITUTES – Day-to-Day substitutes needed for Certified Classroom
Teachers, RNs for school nurse, paraprofessionals, custodial staff and cafeteria staff.


COACHING:

JUNIOR HIGH BOYS BASKETBALL HEAD COACH – Winter 2025-26 season.

VARSITY GOLF ASSISTANT COACH –Fall 2025 season.

JUNIOR HIGH SOFTBALL HEAD COACH –Spring 2026 season.

JUNIOR HIGH GIRLS’ BASKETBALL ASSISTANT COACH –Winter 2025-26 season.
