    Mrs. Jennifer Holcomb
High School Learning Support and English Teacher
    Room #212
Hi there!  My name is Jennifer Holcomb, and I am the new high school learning support and English teacher.  I live in Boswell with my husband and two sons:  Virgil, Noah, and Eli.  That is my human family.  Here is our pet family: a Dachshund (Copper), three cats (Kali, White Kitty, and Zach), two bearded dragon lizards (Lexi and Rio), one green tree frog (Mr./Mrs. Frog), two tortoises (Burt and Ernie), three fish (no names)...and a partridge in a pear tree.
In my spare time (when I actually have some), I enjoy reading, shopping, and participating in activities with my church.  Three fun facts about me are:  1.  When I was a child, I was kicked in my side by a horse's hind legs and had to go to the emergency room.  As an adult, I hit a horse with my car because it ran out in front of me.  I don't think it was the same horse.  2.  I can play a flute.  I can also play the piano a little, and I used to play the violin.  3.  I've never broken or sprained a bone in my body (knock on wood).
I have several years of teaching experience, and I'm coming to Shanksville from Shade.  I truly and greatly am looking forward to becoming a member of the Shanksville family and meeting and working with everyone.  Thank you for that wonderful opportunity.  I wish all of us a safe, healthy, successful, and fun school year!
